SUSPENDING DUTY-FREE DE MINIMIS TREATMENT FOR ALL COUNTRIES

Effective August 29, 2025, this Executive Order suspends duty-free treatment for low-value shipments (valued at or under $800) from all countries, that would otherwise qualify for duty-free de minimis treatment under 19 U.S.C. 1321(a)(2)(C). Beginning on such date, these shipments will no longer be eligible for this treatment and will be subject to all relevant admissibility requirements as well as the assessment of specified duties.

Perfect for Ooni Koda 16” with turntable

The stone arrived pretty quickly and is definitely hand made. I did my first cook on it after following the seasoning process in the instructions and it is amazing. Perfect Neapolitan pizza!! My old stone used to get too hot and burn the underside.

Hundreds of hours and going strong
Stones from Biscotto Stones International are made from the same material I understand that is used in some of the best ovens in Italy and around the world.

I can testify that the Biscotto Stone in the Ooni Koda here in Maryland is still going strong even after what I estimate are hundreds of hours of use. That is, around two hundred plus hours with the flame on in the oven.

I use this outdoor oven in all seasons. I'm firing it up in freezing temperatures in the winter going sometimes from around 30 degrees Fahrenheit to over 900 degrees. The stone is still intact after that kind of repeated thermal shock.

I've certainly got my money's worth, and if this stone ever does give up I'll just order another.

Biscotto floor upgrade for OONI 12" ovens manually produced in Naples from a special clay blend mixed with volcanic ash using a centuries-old method. The Biscotto floor provides a more even heat advantage in the floor and enables pizza baking at temperatures over 450 degrees Celsius on the floor without scorched pizza, which thus leads to reduced baking time and a juicier result.

These Biscotto stone upgrade floors can be used in the following ovens:

  • - OONI Fyra (Someone call this one for Frya)

  • - Other ovens using 13" stones

Approx size: 13" x 13" x 3/4" (33 x 33 x 2 cm).

Note: If using the oven with wood etc, due to the thickness of the Biscotto stone the fuel tray for wood/charcoal might no longer fits through the front opening of the oven. For emptying it, just remove the Biscotto stone for removing/entering the tray.

The stone is shipped in reinforced cardboard boxes with biodegradable foam balls for with shock-absorbing materials to avoid breakage and safe transport.

Biscotto stone is not a perfectly carved stone
Since these stones are handmade, they can vary some in size, or be uneven on the edges. Uneven edges can be sanded down with a fine graded sandpaper. Due to the fragile nature of the stone, we do not offer any guarantee on the stones after delivery. This is standard industry practice.

Biscotto Stones International offer a guarantee during transport from our storage to delivery. Delivery is when our courier has reported the stone delivered. If your stone arrive broken/cracked, you must contact us immediately by email, and no later than 48 hours. This for the guarantee to be valid.

Due to the difference in VAT rates
in the European Union and the United Kingdom, we have decided to remove the VAT from the product and shipping cost.

By doing so, the customer will get
a seperate invoice for the VAT directly from DHL Express on the products.

This will reflect in a decrease of
the shipping rates to the European Union.

Bringing Naples quality to your homes!

All Biscotto stones are produced in Naples from a real craft company with roots far back in history and proud traditions in the production of floors for pizza ovens. The stones are handmade using the methods and techniques that have been used for generations. The clay is mined from the gulf of Naples. This alluvial clay imparts each pizza stone with a unique mineral content that is exclusive to this region of Italy. Using the local clay, each stone begins its life by being hand formed into wooden molds. The clay forms are then air dried allowing the clay to release a specific amount of moisture before firing. Once sufficiently air dried, the forms are carefully loaded into a wood fired kiln. The kiln is fired to a specific temperature, and the artisans stay with the kiln for several days & nights to maintain the kiln temperature. Once the firing process is complete, the stones are removed and ready for use.
