COVID-19

Due to limited resources for processing orders during this time, online orders may experience delays of 3-5 business days before shipping. Please contact support@biscottostones.com for any questions or concerns placing your order. In accordance with public social distancing recommendations, all employees capable of working remotely are doing so. When processing orders, we are being diligent with cleaning and sterilization procedures to further reduce any risks. Thank you for your support and understanding during these trying times.

We have been aware of long delays in postal services during these pandemic times and shipment can be further delayed.

We recommend using express delivery for all shipments during the COVID-19 period. This is because we have experienced delays in the postal services in multiple countries.  

Shipping & Handling

We utilize different postal services for all orders unless specified. For express orders, we use DHL Express as our courier services. Note: If you do not see your destination listed upon checkout selecting express shipment, please contact us for further assistance.

Please note that orders will only be shipped once payment and delivery details have been approved. Delivery time frames begin from the date of dispatch. All express orders are traceable.

All express orders will require signature upon delivery. Biscotto Stones will not assume the risk of loss and title for merchandise for any orders that opt for no signature requirement.

International Shipping

Biscotto Stones International AS will start on February 1st. 2021 only use DHL Express International as the preferred shipping company for international express deliveries. Rates are calculated based on destination and weight of the package. All additional taxes, customs and import duties levied by the client’s local government are the responsibility of the client.

Items will be shipped from Arendal, Norway with an official invoice declaring the exact total of merchandise purchased in US dollars(USD).

Lost & Damaged Orders

In the rare occasion, Biscotto Stones International AS shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages done by any services provided. Any damage caused during shipping is the responsibility of the courier. Biscotto Stones International AS will be the one contacting DHL Express if a stone has been damaged in transport.

Due to the fragile nature of the stones, we do not offer a warranty on the stones. This is standard industry practice. However, should your oven arrive with a broken or cracked stone, please contact us immediately.

Unfortunately, we cannot replace stones that have small chips in them. Because these stones are handmade, air dried & then kiln dried, it quite often results in imperfections and chipping along the edges. These chips do not alter the performance of the stone or oven, therefore are not considered a defect. If a customer finds chips on the stone bothersome, we recommend rotating the stone when possible to achieve the smoothest surface or touching up the edge with sandpaper.
